On August 29th, the Lady Dores met up with the Lady Falcons of York for a pre-season scrimmage. Despite the hot weather, both teams put up a fight ending in a tie, 1-1. Erin Enea scored Monterey's only goal, assisted by Brittany Decker. Monterey's defense held off the Falcons with amazing saves by goalie, Lauren Crees, sweeper, Kathryne Harkins, and full backs Kelly Dunn and Jacque deLeuw.
This weekend the Lady Dores will travel up to Willow Glen to compete in the 13th Annual Willow Glen Jamboree. Game times and schedule can be found at:

Monterey's home opener is Monday, September 17th against the Vikings of North Salinas. Varsity game begins at 3:30 and JV begins at 4:45.
