Boston College vs. Stanford August 25th @ 1 pm

Stanford will open their 2007-08 season against powerhouse Boston College, a true East meets West battle on the field. MHS Field Hockey will be heading up for the action as part of an "un-official" team trip.

Since this would not be a school sponsored event, you would be responsible for your own transportation to and from Stanford. It would be a great idea for parents to assist with transportation/carpooling. We would like as many of you to be able to go as possible. It is not mandatory, but a great opportunity for you to check out Field Hockey at the college level, visit Stanford and bond with your team! Find your ride now!!! Directions from 101 Northbound: Take the Embarcadero Road exit west towards Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street. Cross El Camino Real and continue on Galvez. Turn left onto Nelson Road and proceed into the Varsity Parking Lot. To access the Artificial Turf Field, walk from the west side of the Varsity Parking Lot past Sunken Diamond.

Practice Cancelled 8/14

Field hockey practice has been cancelled tomorrow, Tuesday, August 14th. We will resume practice on Wednesday, August 15th after school at 1:30 pm (collaboration day). We will have a mandatory Saturday practice this Saturday, August 18th at 9:00 am. If you are unable to make it on Saturday please let us know ASAP!!!

We are still accepting new and returning players for field hockey. If you are a returning player and have not filled out your athletic packet or physical, please do so ASAP. If you know any body that might be interested in playing, please encourage them to pick up their papers for athletic clearance.
